To the Glory of God, the Formators, Staff, and Seminarians of Great Bodija resumed the
2023/2024 academic and formative session on October 2nd, 2023. On the evening of the day of
resumption, at 7 pm prompt, the various public Restrooms, and some Formators’ restrooms in
Ugboko and Kizito Blocks, which were renovated and refurbished to the best modern standards
during the summer holiday between July and September, were blessed and commissioned for use
by the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Ibadan and Chairman of our Seminary Commission,
Most Rev. Gabriel ‘Leke Abegunrin. The Acting Rector, Fr. Anthony Oluwagbemiga Igbekele,
in his welcome address, thanked the Archbishop for his presence, welcomed all formators and
Seminarians back to the Seminary after the long holiday, and charged everyone to attune to the
tradition of excellence for which our Seminary is noted, especially concerning maintenance
culture. All Formators and Seminarians were on hand for the blessing and commissioning.
